Since 1985, electrocorp has designed and manufactured industrial air scrubbers for clients such as the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Boeing, Dupont, and hospitals including Chicago General, Downtown New York Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente. Each electrocorp RAP (Radial Air Scrubber) creates a ceiling-to-floor laminar air flow typical of high tech industrial clean rooms for optimal air scrubbing efficiency.

The RAP-204-CC/PC Mixed Media Radial Air Purifier is designed to remove gases and odors as well as particulate as small as mold spores and bacteria from your indoor air. It has a 360 degree air-in draw and is efficient in removing approximately 90% of gases/odors and 99.5% of airborne particulate phase contaminants at .5 microns per air pass. The RAP204-CC/PC uses a Three Stage Filtration process. The First Stage filters the air of larger airborne dust-type particulate using a pre-filter (not pictured here). The Second Stage contains a two-stage, double-layered electrostatically charged fiber cartridge that is 99.5% efficient at capturing particulate down to .5 microns. The Third Stage is a deep bed Virgin Coconut Carbon (VCC) filter that is superior at capturing VOCs and other gases and odors from the air. The scrubbed air is ejected out the top of the unit to the ceiling to create a room-wide ceiling to floor laminar air flow pattern that is key to maintaining the highest quality indoor air.
