The Allerair 6000 DS air purifier is specially designed for smoking environments. A unique tar-trapping pre-filter grabs larger particles and tar and extends the life of the HEPA filter. The Allerair 6000 DS also features a micro-wrap filter to deal with small particles such as cigarette ash and a 3" extra-deep, 28 pound, carbon bed.
The deeper carbon bed increases dwell time, allowing more smoke chemicals, gases and odors to be absorbed. Tobacco smoke and odors are most effectivelly trapped when your air purifiers work on low speed.
Carbon filters are the only known media proven to effectivelly remove the effects of tobacco smoke long after active smoking ceased. Dangerous substances, compounds of tobacco smoke (benzene,toluene, arsenic, nicotine,cynide, trichlorethylene...) are lingering to the walls, draps or furniture coatings beeing released as the air circulates through the room.

Powerful Smoke Control Air Purifier
This Allerair DS smoke control air purifier filters airborne particles using a HEPA
wrap filter. It features a cylindrical shape for maximizing the air flow, casters
for easy maneuverability and a powerful filtration system which
uses 28 lbs of activated carbon to adsorb smoke, chemicals,
gases and odors from the air you breathe.

28 Lb. MAC-B carbon filter bed
- Mass Activated Carbon can trap 60% of its own weight of gases and odors.
